Grange Rochester Hotel | London, England

While I was in London I stayed at the Grange Rochester Hotel

I stayed in a twin room in room 414. The location is fantastic! It's in the Westminster area of London and across the street from Vincent Square. Plus, the houses, churches, and other buildings in the area are really cute! The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the Tate Britain, an 8 minute walk to the St. James's Park tube station, and a 10 minute walk to the Victoria tube station.

St. Stephen's Church is a two minute walk from the hotel

Also, the hotel comes with breakfast, a hairdryer, elevator, fans (because they don't have air conditioning) and they will hold your luggage for you after you check out (if you have more time to explore before heading to the airport).

It's a historic building so it has some quirks (at least that's the reason I'm going with, lol). I'm not sure if the quirks are specific to this building, or English hotels in general, or a combination of the two. There are only a few electrical plugs in the room and they're in odd locations (be sure to bring an extension cord!). Also, there is a specific combination of switches that have to be on for the outlets to work.

For the Americans, be aware that the British hotel star rating system is not the same as the US. For more specifics about this hotel, watch the video below!
