Cafe 501 @ Classen Curve | Oklahoma City, OK

Café 501 is one of my go to restaurants if I am in North Oklahoma City. It's located in Classen Curve which has a mixture of local shops, upscale chain shops (such as Anthropologie and Kendra Scott), and restaurants. Most of the shops are a little pricey, but the restaurants are affordable and have fantastic food.

You will only have table service if you make a reservation. Otherwise you order from the counter and a member of the wait staff will bring your food to your table.

I always choose the "pick any two" option when I visit. I get the chicken salad sandwich and the pear salad which are both tasty. I'm normally not a salad girl (and by salad I mean your typical iceberg lettuce, cheddar, and tomato sadness), but this salad has spinach, sugared walnuts, blue cheese, bacon, and balsamic vinaigrette so I am happy camper.

My Mom had lunch with me and she also chose the "pick any two." She chose the soup of the day, which was Southwest chicken, and the ham sandwich and liked them both. We finished off our meal with a chocolate chip and caramel cookie which was delicious.

In addition to fresh and fantastic food, Café 501 has a delightful atmosphere. It's decorated with contemporary art and architecture pieces without being pretentious. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.
